Summer’s here (yes, summer. Hindi ko nga ma-feel yung lamig ng February, eh) And what’s the better way of enjoying the season than devouring this Filipino Cuisine classic? I’m drooling for some. And no, I don’t want those fancy Halo Halo the restos cater. I want the generic, street versions of Halo Halo. There’s a huge difference.
Yes! The streetstyle Halo-halo are the best. I like mine with homemade mongo, sweet beans, pinipig, ube, leche flan, nata de coco etc. and not replace it with corn flakes and ube and vanilla ice cream like what the fancier versions do (Icebergs, blergh).
